This thesis proposes a process for working with reused building material. The search for and documentation of materials becomes as important as the design itself. By designing through discovery, we engage with what is found and navigate the tension between the generic and the particular. The focus is not on the outcome but developing an adaptable process that can be applied to future projects. Every building is a material bank.
