This thesis questions the role of the in-between spaces and what it means in the context of an urban area. The roof seeks to contain a stable climate and promote cultural activities onto the in-between spaces where Rigid program meets with the flexible roof, creating opportunities for local artists and performers to express their art through the spaces.

The roof holds an essential role in architectural design, it contributes to the building's identity, and creates a sense of unity. Additionally, they provide an opportunity for creative expression giving designers a second canvas for space manipulation. The roof works in favor of the project by acting as a cultural mixer. public spaces in the center of the building are assisted by the roof, creating different methods and possible configuration of space, events, and activities.
